Emma's First Visit to the Dentist

First a few pictures of our little boy...

I love this pic...he looks to sweet, just like a little angel with his hands folded together as he waits for dinner.

Caleb's little head/neck issues are still there... I'm so ready for it to be better.

This pic shows a great view of his lop-sided grin...he's got one less tooth on the bottom than the top.

NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS...Emma went with Daddy to the dentist today... I'm handing over the keyboard so he can type all about it (I was home with Caleb so I didn't go). Here's Adam:

Well...once again I am reminded that my little girl is growing up...oh so quickly. She went with me to the dentist yesterday, and we were going to have her sit in the big chair and let the dentist count her teeth...at least. She sat there patiently as Daddy got his teeth cleaned and when it was her turn, well, we were all amazed.

She sat down all by herself in the chair. She let the hygienist put on her blue "bib." She then let her, not only check and count her teeth, but she also let her CLEAN her teeth with the normal toothpaste and swirly brush--the kind they use on adults!! She just sat there with her mouth open like she was supposed to. They rinsed her teeth and everything. Then they pulled out the floss....no problem!! The dentist came in and she talked with him like they had been lifelong friends. Then he checked her teeth again and her gums. None of us could believe Emma was behaving like such a big girl. It was like it was just another day. Of course my pride swelled to about 10x it's normal size from how well she was doing.


Getting ready...

Miss Lacey polished and flossed all 20 teeth.

Emma and Dr. Jackson. She talked about him all the way home. Apparently, he loved her just as much as she loved him...he was so taken with her that he offered to babysit if we ever needed a babysitter. :)
