Snow Day!!!

All winter, I have been hoping for one good snow, and boy, did we get one last night!!! The weathermen were talking about things like "thunder-ice, thunder snow," etc...things we have never heard of before. About 8pm last night it all started, and since we didn't know how bad it would be, Adam and I made a mad dash out to the garage and shoved everything to the walls so that we could get both cars in the garage (a feat that has NEVER been done since we have had our home).

This morning, we woke up to a beautiful snow...I'm not sure how many inches, but we had some 6" areas in the backyard. As soon as Emma saw it, she got so excited and said "Thank you God for my special surprise!" After breakfast it took us 45 MINUTES (how is that possible?) to get all 4 of us bundled up so we could go out and play (Daddy is home today due to the weather). We had a blast!
Possibly two of the cutest snow-bunnies I have ever seen!!!

Miss "Surefoot" was wobbling around everywhere...there were parts that were up to her knees. She just stood there and said "Mommy...Daddy, I need help! Pick me up!!!"



Emma learned how to make snowballs with Daddy.

Instead of bounding in the snow, Emma chose to ride in the car. It's not as "dirty" that way. What are we going to do with this girl!?!?
