"Hello everyone! Another month and I am still as cute as ever. I have been having some adjustments to life lately...Mommy has taken my bottle away and now gives me my formula in a sippy cup. I don't like it, but it's my only option right now. The only way I will drink it is if she or Daddy feeds me as if I'm drinking from a bottle, in the layed back position. I will not touch my cup yet and do it myself, and only prefer to bother Emma's cup if she leaves hers laying around."Mommy has also limited my homemade pureed food, which I had really grown accustomed to. She has replaced it with "real" bite sized food, which I don't like very much. I pretty much hate it, if I'm being honest, but like I said...when it's your only option, I have had to learn to deal with it. Mommy says "tough love"--whatever that means.
"I don't really have any new words I've learned, although sometimes Mommy swears that I am saying "Ava" or "Emma." I can say those two plain as day, but only I know if I truly know the meanings of those words, and I'm going to keep them guessing as to whether or not I do. I have a speech therapist I see once a week and will also be getting a new PT to work on my neck.
"I have waved once (2 weeks ago) but then haven't done it since then. I am perfectly happy crawling from place to place for now but will cruise along furniture and stand up and play in Emma's kitchen for a long time. Her room is really fun to play in! There's so many things to chew on!!!
