Before the Party...

Ahhh, to have a nice camera for a few days....such a special treat for us!!! We borrowed our friend, Jeremy's camera for a few days and had a fun time playing with it and finding out what it would/could do. Maybe someday we'll have one of our own!!! :)

In the middle of playtime, Emma decided we needed to do some "ek-kercises." "Do them with me Mommy!" she said. So we did some quick crunches. ;) I guess she wanted to look her best for her photo shoot.

Oh how I love you. I can't believe a year ago you arrived in our lives...

Um...okay, so it wrong for me to be jealous of my two year old's gorgeous locks? She has amazing hair. She still has had NO haircut ever...I guess now we're waiting for her 3rd bday since it's just around the corner. Although when it arrives we may chicken out again and put it off a few months.
Another thought we've had is to let it keep growing and let her first haircut be a donation to pantenebeautifullengths.com Similar to the Locks of Love organization in purpose, but they only require 8" of hair instead of 10." What a neat and special first-haircut that would be, right!?!? Still deciding...

A) hopping
B) standing there in this position for a long time doing fancy leg, flamingo, or who knows what
C) trying to ruin a perfectly good photo op because she knew Daddy was taking a pic of Caleb and not her.

Answer: B, with probably a little bit of C as well. :) it was too funny!!!
