Emma put her beloved Zaccheus (cat) in shackles or guillotine or something. I just had to take a pic...

Last week, Daddy was gone to summer camp to lead worship for the kiddos. We kind of go into "survival mode" when he's gone all week...but did manage to have some guitar time.

When he got home, she told Adam "Mommy taught me how to play the guitar."

"Shhh!!! What was that? Did somebody say 'vacation'?" --Caleb
(I think
someone's a little excited)

Making birthday cake.
(she calls it her "pancakes" because she got pancakes when it was her birthday. ha ha)

Emma plays lots of random games. Here, she's lined all her favorite stuffed animals up in a row.

Another "game."
Here Caleb is amusing Emma and playing along with her "rules" as he sits quietly on a pillow...(he looks thrilled, doesn't he?)

...this was the "game." (she lined up all the pillows and put a stuffed animal on each one. Everybody had to have a pillow, including him!)

Look at that smile. Hilarious!

The joy of the tutu.
I pulled it out of the drawer the other day and Emma had a ball. She twirled around the floor and started dancing almost immediately.

Awwwww.

Last Friday we went to a swim day for the kiddos at church. Emma and Caleb had fun. Caleb wasn't too sure about the idea til he was able to hold a pool ring. Once he had something to hold onto, he was lovin' it.

Arm floaties...check.
Swim ring...check.
Another blue floatie to lay on...check.
Daddy hovering inches away...check.
Coast guard helicopter....on the way. ;)

The diving board.
Emma jumped off all by herself!!!!

Mr. Yellow Floatie himself.
(still holding the pool ring)

At swim day, we also celebrated Jordan's birthday. Emma LOVES Jordan. She loves him so much, that often we have an imaginary Jordan at our house.
Below is a video of Emma jumping off the diving board with all her floaties on. :)
