"Is it Bath Night!?!?!?"

Whoa!!! Caleb's hair has a mind of its own...
Every morning, it's always exciting to see what kind of hairdo we're going to start the day with.

Having fun with Daddy before bedtime...

New table and chairs!!!
We got this great hand me down table and chairs last week. Emma loves to use it during project time each day when Caleb goes down for a nap. Thank you Lauren!

Emma's blocks creation. She was so proud. :)

Emma's newest phobia...running water.
She cries when we wash dishes, wash our hands, brush her teeth, and takes a bath. This is EXHAUSTING for Adam and I (and I'm sure for Emma too). These pics were taken a few nights ago at the dinner table...she kept asking "Is it bath night?" When we said yes, she couldn't even finish her fajita...

(please enlarge the above photo. too funny)

This is her "I'm trying to cope...leave me alone" face.

Her fear started one day out of the blue. She did manage to tell us later that the water kept going "up up up" when Noah was on the boat and she didn't want it to go "up up up" again. We explained about the rainbow...God's promise, (a story she knows like the back of her hand) but it hasn't helped. Sigh. She's our weird little bird sometimes. You just never know what's going to send her into a frantic tailspin.

My newest sewing project...Emma's dress and hair bow.
This dress and bow started out as one of my skirts. I thought, "wow, that would make a really cute sundress for Emma" and decided to cut it up. It looks so precious on her, and she kept saying "Thank you Mommy for making me my pretty dress. I love it." That one comment made the effort completely worth it!

Midnight potty time.
Each night Emma gets pulled out of bed for a chance to potty before we go to sleep. She is always SOOOO out of it, as you can see from the photo. I love how she managed to flash the "peace" sign in her sleep. :)
