Emma invited us to come in her room and set on her "couch"...

...this was her couch. :)

Caleb has a MAJOR love for shoes. He especially loves everyone else's shoes.
He felt pretty spiffy wearing my tennis shoes.

After bible time a few nights ago, I sat down in the floor and asked Emma what she learned. (I ask her what she's learned every night). She came over beside me, and was mimicking how i was sitting. She wants to be just like Mommy. :)
Lots of mornings, she'll see what color shirt I'm wearing and ask to wear the same color. "Just like you, Mommy," she'll say.

After bible time, she went into picture-mode....

pretty girl.

Caleb and "Pink Pony."

Everyone agrees, Mallie is awesome.

Playtime!

Caleb decided he'd try Daddy's shoes on for size.

This morning, Emma and I went out with some friends for "girl time." We took a little shopping trip to Hobby Lobby and then ate lunch at a very girly restaurant in town. So. Much. Fun. I love watching how Emma gets the biggest kick out of doing big girl things. This pic was when we got home...she sat on the couch (mimicking Daddy this time) and wanted to tell him all about her morning. So sweet!

Sweet Sweet Time.
Caleb loves to be rocked, wrestled, twirled, etc...anything involving big movements. (It's due partly, I'm sure, to him having sensory issues... which also explains him still headbanging himself to sleep every night).
I said I'd never be one to rock my baby to sleep.
(see above pic)
This is yet another time when I've had to eat my words. ;)
I certainly don't do it every night, and thankfully, it's nothing I
have to do...he will fall asleep on his own without rocking. But there's something pretty priceless about a rambunctious little boy melting in your arms and being completely still for a few minutes at the end of a busy day. So content. Not wanting to be anywhere else. The time is just as much as for me as it is for him. I love it.

The cuddly rocking of a baby has always been a love of my life!! I would have loved to live close to Caleb and helped him with the sensory issues from day 1.(ha) It's always better when it's family!
The kiddos are getting so big and are still sooo cute!!
